Allison A. Uziel, Murrysville, and Theodore B. Bakowicz, Danville, were united in marriage at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, 2011.
Rev. Kenneth Zaccagnini officiated at the ceremony held at Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church, Murrysville.
A rehearsal dinner was held at Robokyo Steakhouse, Greensburg, and a reception was held at Oakmont Country Club, Pittsburgh.

The bride is the daughter of Rita and Robert Uziel, Murrysville. She graduated from Franklin Regional High School in 2001, received a bachelor's degree in biological science with minors in chemistry and biomedical engineering from the University of Pittsburgh in 2005, and received a master's degree in physician assistant studies from Chatham University, Pittsburgh, in 2007. She is employed by Westmoreland Emergency Medicine Specialists, Greensburg, as a physician assistant.
Bakowicz is the son of Sandra and Ted Bakowicz, Danville. He graduated from Danville High School in 1993. He received a bachelor's degree in psychobiology from Albright College, Reading, in 1997 and a second bachelor's degree in physician assistant studies from the Pennsylvania College of Technology in 2000. He is employed by Excela Health, Greensburg, as a physician assistant.
Ring bearer was Theodore Joshua Bakowicz, son of the bridegroom.
Following a trip to Key West, Fla., the couple is residing in Pittsburgh.
