Announcement has been made of the engagement of Amy M. Norton and Robert J. Fry Jr., both of Montoursville.
A Nov. 3 wedding in Eagles Mere is being planned.
Norton is the daughter of Patricia and John Norton, Port Orange, Fla. She graduated from Montoursville Area High School in 1992 and received a bachelor's degree in geography from Kutztown University in 1997. She is employed by Lycoming County Planning and Community Development as a geographic information systems technician.

Fry is the son of Robert J. Fry Sr. and Betzi and Robert Hiller, all of Montoursville. He graduated from Montoursville Area High School in 1985 and received a bachelor's degree in political science from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1991. He is employed by RJF Contracting, Montoursville.
