Mr. and Mrs. Earnest Hower, Linden, observed their 50th wedding anniversary Aug. 24, 2012.
They were married by the Rev. Rocky Clark.
Mrs. Hower, the former Marjorie O. Arnold, is a native of Lock Haven. She is the daughter of the late Margie Embick. She is a homemaker.
Mr. Hower, a native of Watsontown, is the son of the late Mabel and Harry Hower. He served in the Navy and is employed by P-Stone, Inc., Jersey Shore.
They are the parents of a daughter, Brenda Hower, and two sons, Earnie Jr. and Harry.
In honor of their anniversary, their children and grandchildren hosted a family dinner Aug. 12 at the Old Paint Mill, Jersey Shore.
