Postal award given to physician

The U.S. Postal Service, Montoursville Post Office, recognized and awarded Dr. Grace Shu with the U.S. Postal Service Award.

Shu has served in several positions at the local, state and federal levels. Currently, she serves as a National Health Service adviser, a commissioner on the state Governor's Advisory Commission on Asian American Affairs, and is a member of the Pennsylvania HIV Prevention Community Planning Committee.

She has a background in health care, health care policy and humanitarian issues, both in the United States and abroad.

Locally, she is the chief adviser on international affairs for City of Williamsport, and previously served as vice president for international affairs at the Williamsport-Lycoming Chamber of Commerce.
