CANTON - The Canton Area Chamber of Commerce and the Friends of the Canton Green Free Library recently bought a one-year license for the Canton Green Free Library so the library and patrons can legally show movies.
The two Canton community organizations are co-sponsoring the Canton Kid's Movie Club. The club will "meet" during the 2012-13 school year on days that school is closed for a holiday or because there is an in-service day.
Dates and movies will be announced. Membership is free. The movies shown will be rated G and PG, so children of all ages can participate.
The first movie, "Beverly Hills Chihuahua," will be shown at 10 a.m. Aug. 22 in the Children's Room.
No reservations are required. Movie snacks will be provided.
