Announcement has been made of the engagement of Michele J. Tempesta, Manhasset, N.Y., and Trent W. Gibbon, Stamford, Conn.
An October wedding at St. Mary Church, Manhasset, N.Y., is being planned.
Tempesta is the daughter of Michele and Peter A. Tempesta Jr., Manhassat, N.Y. She graduated from Manhasset High School in 2003 and received a bachelor's degree in digital media from Albright College, Reading, in 2007. She is employed by King Street Capital Management, New York City, as an executive assistant.
Gibbon is the son of Mona and Mark Gibbon, Williamsport. He graduated from Williamsport Area High School in 2003 and received a bachelor's degree in business administration and marketing from Albright College, Reading, in 2007. He is employed by Prudential Annuities, Shelton, Conn., as a regional vice president.
