Health screenings set Saturday at Sam's Club
MUNCY - Sam's Club, 611 Lycoming Mall Circle, will host free children's health screenings from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
The screenings will include DNA tests, fingerprinting, oral health, body mass index and blood pressure.
Mummers Association begins plans for parade
DuBOISTOWN - A meeting of the South Williamsport Mummers Association will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the DuBoistown Fire Hall.
Interested parties are welcome to attend.
Plans for this year's Mummers Parade, scheduled for Oct. 20, will be reviewed.
Seniors group to hold meeting
The Salladasburg Chapter of the Lycoming County Senior Citizens will hold its monthly meeting and hot dog roast at noon Thursday at Susquehanna State Park, Arch Street.
Members are asked to bring a place setting and casserole to share.
Garden club meets at winery
The Jersey Shore Garden Club will hold its monthly program Thursday at Bastress Mountain Winery, along Route 654 in Bastress.
The program will feature wine tasting and snacks. New members are welcome.
