Kessler is the daughter of Teresa and Kevin Kessler, Montoursville. She graduated from Montoursville Area High School in 2008 and received a bachelor's degree in early childhood and elementary education from Bloomsburg University this year. She is employed by Giant Food Stores LLC as a service center associate.

Strouse is the son of Cathy and John Bittlingmeyer, Tannersville. He graduated from Pocono Mountain East High School, Scotrun, in 2007 and received a bachelor's degree in business management from Bloomsburg University this year. He is employed by Enterprise Rent-A-Car as a management trainee.
