Announcement has been made of the engagement of Katherine Mary Kennedy, Levittown, N.Y., and Joe Clarence Brague Jr., Williamsport.
A summer 2014 wedding at St. William the Abbot, Seaford, N.Y., is being planned.
Kennedy is the daughter of Teresa and James Kennedy, Levittown. She graduated from General Douglas MacArthur High School, Levittown, in 2006. She received a bachelor's degree in environmental studies, marine biology at Stony Brook University, Stony Brook, N.Y., in 2010, and is pursuing a degree in law from Appalachian School of Law, Grundy, Va. She is employed by Lepley, Engelman and Yaw LLC as a summer clerk.

Brague is the son of Michele and Joe Brague Sr., Williamsport. He graduated from the former Bishop Neumann High School, now St. John Neumann Regional Academy, in 2005. He received a dual bachelor's degree in biology and neuroscience from University of Scranton in 2010 and is pursuing a Ph.D in neuroscience with a focus on electrophysiology from Lehigh University, Bethlehem.
