MIFFLINBURG - Matt Ludwig, of Selinsgrove, went undefeated in winning the men's singles title during the recent Burke P. Derr-Karl A. Servinsky Memorial Tennis Tournament.

Ludwig beat Peter Csernica of Lewisburg in the finals, 6-4. Csernica placed second and beat Ben Koch, also of Lewisburg, 6-2. Koch finished third in downing Mifflinburg's Mike Meiser who finished fourth.

The tournament continued July 21, with the mixed doubles competition.

The double-elimination tournament drew 23 participants from six counties. Proceeds benefitted PACFI, an independent, nonprofit, all volunteer organization that provides services and supports for Pennsylvania individuals and families affected by cystic fibrosis and funds research.
