Announcement has been made of the engagement of Jennifer Palmer and Cory Moore, both of Charlotte, N.C.
A May 2013 wedding in Hilton Head, S.C., is being planned.
Palmer is the daughter of Laureen and John Palmer, State College. She graduated from State College Area High School in 2005 and received a bachelor's degree in communications from Penn State in 2009. She is employed by Zenmonics, Charlotte, as a marketing specialist.

Moore is the son of Jane Moore, Linden, and Wayne Moore, Jersey Shore. He graduated from State College Area High School in 2004 and received a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Penn State in 2008. He is employed by Lowe's, Charlotte, as a loss prevention manager.
