Sewing center to hold class
Strobel's Sewing Center, 201 Basin St., will hold a class titled, "Designer Ruby Experience," with Viking Educator Linda Holmes from 9 a.m. to noon and 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Friday.
Participants will be guided through the Designer Ruby sewing and embroidery techniques, and will leave with a project.

Area seniors to hold lunch
MONTGOMERY - The Montgomery Area Senior Citizens will hold their next meeting at noon Aug. 7 at St. John Lutheran "Brick" Church.
Reservations must be made by Thursday by calling 547-1953.
A program will follow the meal and a blood pressure clinic will be available.
