A Garrett woman has been indicted on a charge of robbing First National Bank in Loganton in Clinton County using a dangerous weapon, U.S. Attorney Peter J. Smith said.
Nichole Lynn Durst, 23, allegedly robbed the bank May 31, getting away with $3,697 after using a pistol and threatening a bank employee and others, Smith said.
If convicted of the offense, Durst faces up to 25 years in prison and a maximum fine of $250,000, Smith said.
The case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, state police and the matter has been assigned to Assistant U.S. Attorney George J. Rocktashel to prosecute.
