Announcement has been made of the engagement of Kristen Hakes and Wesley Kinley, both of Montoursville.
A Sept. 29 wedding in Cogan Station is being planned.
Hakes is the daughter of Barbara Hakes, Cogan Station, and Bruce Yearick, Mill Hall. She graduated from Williamsport Area High School in 2003 and is pursuing a degree in nursing from Pennsylvania College of Technology. She is employed by Valley View Nursing Center, Montoursville, as a nursing assistant.

Kinley is the son of Charlene and Doug Kinley, Cogan Station. He graduated from Williamsport Area High School in 2003 and received a degree in welding technology from Pennsylvania College of Technology in 2005. He is employed by Jasper Steel Fabrication Inc. as a welder and fabricator.
