Richard "Bishop" R. Brown Sr., 67, of Harrisburg, Pa., formerly of Williamsport, Pa., passed away July 7, 2012, at the Golden Living Center in Harrisburg, Pa.
He was born May 3, 1945, in Harrisburg, Pa. He resided in Williamsport from 1964 to 2007.
Richard was preceded in death by a sister, Odessa Shockley and a brother, Terry Brown.

He is survived by a daughter, Wendy Brown, of Pittsburgh, Pa.; a son, Richard Brown Jr. and former wife, Carla Ware of Williamsport, Pa.; two grandchildren, Dayquan Eisner of Williamsport Pa., and Lena Gay of Pittsburgh, Pa.; his mother and father, Sarah and Lindberg Cypress; brothers, Leonard Brown, Larry Morris; sisters, Patricia (Jerry) Penn and Linda Morris, all of Harrisburg, Pa.; sister, Pearl Adams and Sarah Brown of California, plus a host of nieces and nephews and friends.
Arrangements are being handled by Hooper's Funeral Home, Harrisburg, Pa. A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date.
