Theodora M. "Teddy" Hendershot, 55, of Jersey Shore, passed away Saturday, July 7, 2012, at the Gatehouse in Williamsport.
She was born Nov. 7, 1956, in Jersey Shore, a daughter of Theodore S. and Betty Louise (Lehman) Clark.
Teddy was a 1974 graduate of Jersey Shore High School.
She was employed several years with W. A. DeHart, Inc. of New Columbia.
Teddy was a member of the Oval United Methodist Church.
She enjoyed her work, visiting Atlantic City and loved her two grandchildren.
Her survivors include, her father, Theodore and her son, Joshua Hendershot, both of Jersey Shore; two sisters, Rose (Randy) Kopelcheck of Milton and Linda (Theodore) Szhua of Jersey Shore; three brothers, Timothy R. (Linda) Clark, Scott (Kathy) Clark and Daniel Clark, all of Jersey Shore; two grandchildren, Kina and Gavin.
Teddy's Life Celebration will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 11, 2012, at the Rearick-Carpenter Funeral Home, Ltd., "A Life Celebration Home," 1002 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Interment will follow in Jersey Shore Cemetery.
