Theresa (Tray) Cioffi, 98, of 2985 Four Mile Drive, Montoursville, died in Elmcroft of Loyalsock on July 4, 2012. She was born in Letonia, Pa., Jan. 16, 1914, the daughter of John and Angelina Penna Leo.
She was a long time member of Mater Dolorosa Church and the church's Christian Women's Association, now St. Joseph the Worker Parish. Her husband, Thomas Cioffi, died Feb. 27, 1969.
Tray is survived by her son and daughter in law, Frank and Linda Cioffi of South Williamsport. Grandchildren also survive her, Teri Cioffi and Ryan of Gig Harbor, Wash.; Frank Cioffi, Christa, Jacob and Hershey; her sister, Ann Rosato of New Cumberland and brother, Frank Anthony Leo of South Williamsport. Trey was preceded in death by a brother, Frank Leo; sisters, Louise Casale, Angeline Cunningham and brother, John Leo Jr.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 702 W. Fourth St., Williamsport on Tuesday July 10, 2012 at 10 a.m. A private family viewing will be held at the Crouse Funeral Home, 133 E. Third St., on Tuesday morning. Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Williamsport. In memory of Theresa, her wishes were that you might help a neighbor in need, call or visit a sick friend or simple show an act of kindness to someone in need.
