Nelson E. Coffin, 52, of 1618 High St., was jailed after allegedly punching his wife, Rhonda, and then a second woman, Chelsy Askins, during two separate disturbances within an hour at his home early Monday morning, city police said.
The first disturbance occurred about 12:20 a.m. Police responded back to the property for the second incident at 1 a.m.
Following his arraignment before District Judge Jon E. Kemp on two counts each of simple assault and harassment, Coffin was committed to the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $35,000 bail.
