Rev. Marjorie A. Glascow

Rev. Marjorie A. Glascow passed away June 10, 2012, in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport. Born Oct. 31, 1934, in Lock Haven, Pa., she was the daughter of Raymond D. and Anna P. (Brady) Motter. Marjorie graduated in 1951 from Lock Haven High School, and in 1954 from Lock Haven Hospital School of Nursing. She worked as a registered nurse and later became a United Methodist minister serving the Central Pennsylvania Conference at several different churches seated at Millmont, Mill Hall, South Williamsport, Gardners and Oval, retiring in 2005. She was a graduate of Wesley Seminary course of Study, and earned a B.S. degree from Lebanon Valley College in 1985. In 1996, Marjorie was a missionary to Africa.

Marjorie is survived by her daughters, Michele (Ronald) Malone and Elizabeth (Brian) Baer; grandchildren, Ronnie and Anna Malone, and Andrew and Abraham Baer; sister, Louise M. Smith; and several nieces and nephews. Marjorie was predeceased by her two brothers, Raymond (Mary) Motter Jr. and Richard (late Vivian) Motter.

Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours from 1 to 2 p.m. in the Mill Hall United Methodist Church, 212 S. Danis St., Mill Hall, Pa., on Saturday, July 7, 2012, where a memorial service will immediately follow at 2 p.m. Donations may be made to the following charities: www.hopemadereal.org or missioncentral.org, and would be appreciated by the family.
