It has been said of late that birth control is a women's health issue, implying that contraceptives are to be equated with medicinal compounds which promote a woman's good health. And yet, my television is rife with advertisements for personal injury lawyers and class action suits pertaining to the adverse effects of birth control pills. Go figure.
