Everybody seems to be a Monday morning Quarterback. The letter I just read blames a young Mike McQueary for not stepping in after what he witnessed in a shower at Penn State. Everybody says they would have done that or done this.
Well guess what, unless you are trained to react to something like that nobody, including me, knows how they would react. It is very easy to say what you would do, but to walk in on something so unbelievable is mind boggling.
He reported it to the late Coach Paterno who then reported it to the proper authorities. I ask what happened to the investigation in 1999 conducted by the state's Attorney General, now are current governor, long before that shower incident.
What happened to the investigation by the Centre County District Attorney, who has since disappeared. Those in authority at Penn State fumbled the ball as well. And you want to blame a young graduate assistant coach? Give me a break!
I'm not making excuses, just stating a fact. Enough said!
