Announcement has been made of the engagement of Dr. Kristi Juskiewicz and Scott Clarke.
A 2013 wedding is being planned.
Juskiewicz is the daughter of Joanne and Bernie Juskiewicz, Plains. She graduated from Coughlin High School, Wilkes-Barre, in 2004. She received a doctorate degree in pharmacy from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, Boston, Mass., and is pursuing a master's degree in health care administration from King's College, Wilkes-Barre. She is employed by Susquehanna Health as a pharmacist.

SCOTT CLARKE
Clarke is the son of Virginia and Paul Clarke, Avoca. He graduated from Pittston Area High School in 2003. He received a bachelor's degree in biology from Temple University, Philadelphia, in 2008 and is a second-year medical student at the Commonwealth Medical College, Scranton. He is a research intern for the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Cambridge, Mass.
