Mr. and Mrs. Danny McPherson, Jersey Shore, observed their 25th wedding anniversary June 27, 2012.
They were married by the Rev. Ronald Miller at St. James Lutheran Church, Rauchtown, where they are members.
Mrs. McPherson, the former Danette R. Welshans, is a native of Jersey Shore. She is the daughter of Carol Welshans and the late Lyle H. Welshans. She graduated from Jersey Shore Area High School in 1984 and received an associate degree as a dietetic technician from the former Williamsport Area Community College, now Pennsylvania College of Technology, in 1986. She received a bachelor's degree in health sciences coordinated dietetic program from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Newark, in 2007. She is employed by Jersey Shore Hospital as a licensed registered dietitian and director of nutrition and dining services.

Mr. McPherson, a native of Jersey Shore, is the son of Linda and Gary McPherson, Jersey Shore. He graduated from Jersey Shore Area High School in 1982 and is employed by Alcan Cable.
They are the parents of a daughter, Danielle, and a son, Derek, both of Jersey Shore.
In honor of their anniversary, a family celebration is being planned.
