Mr. and Mrs. Edward Schleiff, Williamsport, observed their 55th wedding anniversary June 29, 2012.
They were married by the late Rev. Judson Burrows at South Avis Community Chapel.
Mrs. Schleiff, the former Betty M. Brooks, is the daughter of the late Florence and Albert Brooks. She graduated from Jersey Shore Area High School and retired from Loyalsock Township School District.

Mr. Schleiff is the son of the late Evelyn and Walter Schleiff. He attended Jersey Shore Area High School and served in the Army Medical Corps for three years. He retired from Alcan Cable.
