Briggy Bandz fundraiser set
Bridget Fink, of Williamsport, has teamed up with the family of Ryan Roberts to offer Superman-themed Briggy Bandz as a fundraiser for the Roberts family.
Roberts is a young boy who has an inoperable congenital heart disease and Down syndrome who is being treated at the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. His family has nicknamed him Superman after his favorite superhero.
Briggy Bandz are bands that contain an ingredient that once soaked in water and placed in the refrigerator or cooler, can stay cold for hours.

State park hosts railroad exhibit
FORKSVILLE - A model railroad exhibit will be on display from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Visitors Center at Worlds End State Park
The event is open to local residents, history buffs and railroad enthusiasts.
Tony Ferraro, longtime railroad enthusiast from Williamsport, will exhibit models and photographs of Sullivan County narrow-gauge railroading.
Visitors also will have a chance to view authentic video footage of early 20th-century logging operations.
Sewing center plans classes
Strobel's Sewing Center, 201 Basin St., will hold the following classes for the months of June and July:
June 26, July 31 - Unfinished Project Night, 6 to 8:30 p.m.
July 2, 16 - Dear Jane's Quilters, 6 to 8 :30 p.m. Quilters will work on a replica of the Jane A. Stickle quilt from 1863.
July 9, 30 - My Garden Album quilt class, 1 to 3:30 p.m. July 9 and 6 to 8:30 p.m. July 30. This class will feature projets from?Edyta Sitar's, "Hop To It!"
July 17 - Twisted Triangles Table Runner class, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
July 25 - Casserole Carrier class, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
