Announcement has been made of the engagement of Nicole Leigh Steinbacher and Joshua Charles Loutsenhizer, both of Springfield, Va.
An Oct. 6 wedding in Williamsport is being planned.
Steinbacher is the daughter of Nancy and Daniel Steinbacher, Jersey Shore. She graduated from Jersey Shore Area High School in 2004 and received a bachelor's degree in accounting from St. Vincent College, Latrobe, in 2008. She is employed by Naval Audit Service, Virginia, as an auditor.

Loutsenhizer is the son of Cheryl and Robert Loutsenhizer, North Huntingdon. He graduated from Norwin High School, Irwin, in 2003. He received bachelor's degrees in marketing and management from St. Vincent College in 2007. He is employed by PNC Bank, Virginia, as a treasury management officer.
