Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Henderson observed their 65th wedding anniversary June 11, 2012.
They were married by the Rev. Noah Fehl at Memorial Baptist Church. They are members of Messiah Lutheran Church, South Williamsport.
Mrs. Henderson, a native of Williamsport, is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Reigle Sr. She attended South Williamsport High School and is retired and a homemaker.

Mr. Henderson, a native of Hughesville, is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Henderson. He graduated from Hughesville High School in 1943. He served in the Navy during World War II and is a Coast Guard veteran. He retired from the former Carey-McFall Corp., now Springs Window Fashions, after 27 years of employment.
They are the parents of a daughter, Mary Ann, Warrenton, Va., and two sons, the Rev. Thomas, Williamsport, and Dr. Robert, Sioux City, Iowa.
There are nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
In honor of their anniversary, there will be a small celebration.
