Accusations of stealing checks against already-jailed woman

June 9, 2012
Williamsport Sun-Gazette

Additional charges have been filed against homeless Lycoming County Prison inmate Tonya Lynn King, who was incarcerated last month on two separate set of charges of driving under the influence of controlled substances.

King, 34, formerly of 960 Dauber Road, Cogan Station, was taken from the jail on May 22 and arraigned before District Judge Jerry C. Lepley on state police charges of burglary, felony trespassing, theft and receiving stolen property.

These charges stem from King allegedly stealing some cash, three blank checks and cards from Robert D. Smiley's apartment at 110 Reynolds Road in Woodward Township on May 5, according to court records. She was recommitted in lieu of $25,000 bail.
