Announcement has been made of the engagement of Sarah Marie Young, Wellsboro, and Timothy Edward Bartman, Oahu, Hawaii.
Young is the daughter of Barb and Jim Young, Wellsboro. She graduated from Wellsboro Area High School in 2004 and received a bachelor's degree in communication from Mansfield University in 2008.
Bartman is the son of Mary and Joe Bartman, Tiskilwa, Ill. He graduated from Princeton High School, Princeton, Ill., in 2005 and received a bachelor's degree in computer animation from Full Sail University, Winter Park, Fla., in 2009. He is serving as a specialist in the Army and is deployed in Afghanistan.
