JERSEY SHORE - Phelps Chapel United Methodist Church, Pine Creek exit off Route 220, will hold vacation Bible school from 6-8:30 p.m. Sunday and 6:30-8:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. This year's theme is Operation Overboard for children from pre-school to fifth grade. The last night there will be a program and cookout.

LEWISBURG - The Kingdom Kidz Inc. will present a VBS program at the Meadowview Apartments, 6 Shelley Circle, in cooperation with Harvest House Christian Fellowship from 6:30-8 p.m.

St. John's-Newberry United Methodist Church, 2101 Newberry St., will hold VBS from 9 a.m.-noon for ages 4-12. Registration is $1 per child. The theme is Operation Overboard.

CASTANEA - Big Woods Bible Church, 120 Logan Ave., will hold SonSurf Beach Bash VBS from 9 a.m.-noon for children age 4 through the completion of sixth grade. There is no cost, but registration is suggested by calling 893-8274.
Pine Street United Methodist Church, 441 Pine St., will hold Operation Overboard VBS from 6:15-8:30 p.m. for children pre-kindergarten through fifth grade with a special program for Middle School. Call 323-4604 to register.

Garden View Baptist Church,1600 Doris Ave., will hold a one-day VBS and soccer camp from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. for children in kindergarten through sixth grade at Fellowship Field, near the church.
