Paul H. Chandler, 74, of Heatherbrooke Estates, Muncy, passed away Friday, June 1, 2012, at the Gatehouse Hospice, Williamsport.
Born Nov. 22, 1937, in Punxsutawney, he was the son of the late Wilbur and Thelma (Dolan) Chandler. He married the former Judy Sheaffer on Aug. 11, 1972, and they celebrated nearly 40 years of marriage.
Paul was a 1956 graduate of Williamsport Technical High School. A truck driver for 32 years, he drove for Trans American, ONC, Associated, Helms, PIE and retired after driving for Nichol's Bakery. Earlier in life he had been a school bus driver for Lower Allen Township.

He was a member of Teamsters in Reading, Pa. and Canton, Ohio.
Paul enjoyed using his computer and had earlier in life enjoyed his CB Radio.
Surviving besides his wife Judy are five children, Paul H. Chandler II, of Mechanicsburg, Gina Stackhouse and her husband Carl, of Benton, twins MSgt Barbrina A. Chandler, USMC Ret., of Jacksonville, N.C. and Thomas Chandler, of Kuna, Idaho, and Douglas Chandler and his companion Leah Hart, of Meridan, Idaho; four grandchildren, Jim (Shannon) Hartkorn, of Benton, Ken Hartkorn, of Nantucket, Mass., and Chazz and Cloie Chandler, both of Kuna, Idaho; two great-granddaughters, Rylan and Ava Hartkorn; three cousins, Beverly Proctor, of Galeton, Frank Chandlee, of Phoenix, Ariz., and Jim Chandlee, of Williamsport; and his special buddy, his dog Toby.
Friends are invited to an informal gathering to share memories with the family at 2 p.m. Thursday at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 39 Paradise St., Turbotville.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in Paul's memory be made to The Gatehouse Hospice, 1100 Grampain Blvd., Williamsport, PA 17701.
