The woman driving this Chevrolet Malibu declined treatment for injuries she suffered when the car and a Jeep Cherokee driven by Kyle S. Stouffer, 25, of Sherwood Avenue, South Williamsport, collided at Third and Market streets about 10:30 Sunday night, city police said. Stouffer was taken into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, police said. While in custody, he allegedly kicked Patrolman Joshua Bell several times, police said. Following his arraignment on assault-related charges, Stouffer was committed to the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $25,000 bail. The woman’s identity was not available Monday night.
