Joseph Nolan, 20, of Williamsport, shot this 19 1/2-pound gobbler with an 11-inch beard at 8:30 a.m. May 12 on Bald Eagle Mountain. It wasn’t the only bird he saw that day for he observed a bald eagle, scarlet tanager and Baltimore oriole, along with other wildlife.
