Many centuries ago, the Roman Empire stretched from England to the Middle East and most all of Northern Africa.
Nero was their Emperor. Their History written in the book, "The rise and fall of the Roman Empire," lists at the end, "Nero fiddled while Rome burned!"
The United States was the world leader until a decade ago. Now our Congress and our presidents are ignoring our decline and encouraging division among Americans with a coming disaster ahead in several years.
Now our Democrat controlled Senate has proved incapable of even voting on a budget for three years and completely ignoring our bankrupting entitlements or doing much of anything to address any of our major problems.
In addition, our administration's focus seems to be on same sex marriage or women's contraception.
America's energy supplies and uses are being destroyed and abandoned with unnecessary EPA regulations and restrictions.
Most of the TV and news media is blind as a bat to the dangers ahead for every American who sees what our debt will control and bring devastation to generations that follow.
Are we watching TV, sports, polls and politics while America is daily drowning in billions of dollars of debt with no accountability by anyone in charge.
We are worse off than Greece because there will be no one to save America. You can't run a house or a business for long by using your credit card and the ending will be the same for the government.
