Mary Patricia Weindel, Williamsport, and Anthony Thompson, Mifflinburg, were united in marriage at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011.
The Rev. Paul Fontanella officiated at the ceremony at St. Ann Catholic Church.
A rehearsal dinner was held at Vincenzo's Italian Restaurant and a reception was held at the Genetti Hotel.

The bride is the daughter of Patricia and Uwe Weindel, Middletown, Va. She graduated from the former Bishop Neumann High School, now St. John Neumann Regional Academy, in 2003. She received a bachelor's degree in special education in 2007 and a master's degree in education of the deaf and hard of hearing in 2008, both from Bloomsburg University. She is employed by Canton Area School District as a teacher of the deaf and hard of hearing.
Thompson is the son of Victoria Thompson, Mifflinburg, and the late Edward Thompson. He graduated from Mifflinburg High School in 2001 and is employed by RoseView Court as a dietary aide.
Maid of honor was Annalise Weindel, Middletown, sister of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Leela Cleary, Lebanon, and Jennifer McBride, Philadelphia, sister of the bridegroom.
Best man was Joe Kelly, Woodbury, N.J., cousin of the bridegroom.
Ushers were Nicholaus Weindel, Middletown, and Philip Weindel, Austin, Texas, both brothers of the bride.
Following a trip to Montego Bay, Jamaica, the couple is residing in Williamsport.
