Announcement has been made of the engagement of Chelsea Faye Karschner, Montoursville, and Jonathan Lane Mowery, Centre Hall.
A September 22 wedding in Selinsgrove is being planned.
Karschner is the daughter of Shelly and Robert Karschner, Montoursville. She graduated from Montoursville Area High School in 2006 and is pursuing an associate degree in radiologic technology from Pennsylvania College of Technology. She is employed by Jersey Shore State Bank as a teller.

Mowery is the son of Kathy and Ernie Mowery, Centre Hall. He graduated from Centre County Christian Academy, Bellefonte, in 2000 and received a bachelor's degree in hotel restaurant and institutional management from Penn State University, State College, in 2006. He is a self-employed contractor.
