Mr. and Mrs. Willis Jones Sr., English Center, observed their 60th wedding anniversary May 17, 2012.
They were married in Schuylkill Haven.
Mrs. Jones, the former Theresa Clark, is a native of Pine Grove. She is the daughter of Eva and Arthur Clark. She attended Pine Grove schools and is a homemaker.
Mr. Jones, a native of Pine Grove, is the son of Laura and Walter Jones. He attended Pine Grove schools and was employed by Bethlehem Steel.
They are the parents of two daughters, Beverly Lake, Towanda, and Lori Crum, Trout Run; a son, Willis Jr., Honey Brook; and three deceased sons, Steven, Walter and Jeffrey.
There are seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
In honor of their anniversary, a family gathering at the couple's home is being planned.
