Senior center to hold spring tea
MUNCY VALLEY - The Muncy Valley Senior Center will hold a spring tea from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Muncy Valley Senior Center, 18774 Route 220.
Activities for the day will include blood pressure and blood sugar screenings and medication reviews by Pauline Montgomery from Montgomery's Pharmacy in Hughesville.
Association to hold annual spring luncheon
The Lycoming County Chapter of Pennsylvania Association of School Retirees will hold an annual spring luncheon at 12:30 p.m. June 12 at the New Covenant United Church of Christ fellowship hall, 202 E. Third St.
A broasted chicken buffet lunch will be served with a "pass the mic" program to follow. The program will feature personal experiences of school in years past.
Members and others who are retirees of the public school system are welcome and may bring a guest.
