Joan Watson, human resources coordinator, left, presents Mary Bowersox with her 2,000 service hours pin on April 20. Bowersox was among the Jersey Shore Hospital volunteers who were honored that day with a special luncheon and gifts in recognition of their service. Charles Fausey and Ruth Hinshaw were presented with pins for their 500 hours of service. Volunteers help visitors, transport various items, staff reception areas, give directions and assist with clerical duties along with numerous other activities. “We thank them for all that they do each and every day here at Jersey Shore Hospital,” said Carey Plummer, CEO. “Their dedication to our hospital family is essential to our growth and sustainability. We are continually grateful for all of their efforts and hard work.”
