Relay For Life team holds events
The Celebrate Everything team of the Relay For Life of Tri-Town will hold two fundraisers for the American Cancer Society.
The first event will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Dairy Queen in South Williamsport. During those hours, Dairy Queen will donate 10 percent of its sales to the American Cancer Society.
Also, from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, a Zumbathon will be held at Donald E. Schick Elementary School along Four Mile Drive.
Community to hold annual yard sales
ANTES FORT - The annual Antes Fort Community Yard sale will take place, rain or shine, June 2.
Homes throughout the village will offer an assortment of clothing for men, women and children.
Toys, furniture, books, CDs, appliances, house wares and jewelry are just some of the items that visitors can expect to find.
There also will be an assortment of antiques, collectibles and artwork for sale.
The community yard sales start at 9 a.m. Antes Fort is located off Route 44, just across the river from Jersey Shore.
