The Williamsport Music Club will hold its monthly meeting at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the YWCA, 815 W. Fourth St. The program chairperson is Shirley Knade.
The title for the event is "Music Makes Connections Through Styles" and will feature a song of the month performed by Georgie Ulrich and Joyce Morgan.
The songs that will be performed are separated into several categories, including "Sacred," "Classic," "Generally Popular Sixties," "Celtic" and "Contemporary."

The "Sacred" songs "Trumpet March," an anonymous German tune, "Minuet" by Mr. Pelham, "Gavotte Variations" by Lilley and "Lord, Listen to Your Children Praying," will be performed by Richard Lakey, pianist.
"Zochreinu," a traditional tune, and "A Simple Song" by Leonard Bernstein will be performed by soprano Shirley Knade.
For the "Classic" songs, violinist Sarah Long will perform Concerto No. 9 in A minor by De Berio, accompanied by Kristen Ivers; violinist Walker Konkle will perform "Serenade du Tsigane" accompanied by Kristen Ivers; and flutists Jessica Gower and Lucy Henry will perform Adagio from Sonata in G majoor by Marcello.
The "Generrally Popular Sixties" songs will be "Kathy's Song" by Simon and Garfunkel and "In My Life" by John Lennon and will be performed by Edward Lyon on vocal and guitar.
Harpist Wendy McCormick and flutist Lucy Henry will play "Si Bheg Si Mohr" by Turlough O'Carolan for the "Celtic" portion of the program and singing group Nothing But Treble will perform "Natural Woman" by Gerry Goffin, Carole King and Jerry Wexler, "Turn the Beat Around" by Peter and Gerald Jackson, "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" by Robert Hazard and "Always Be My Baby" by Mariah Carey, Jermaine Dupris, Manuel Beal. Nothing But Treble features Jacquie Engel, Denise Connor, Tess Bower Gist and Marisa Hickey.
The hostesses of the program will be Kay Huffman and Bonnie Seltzer.
