Electricity is a necessity today in your home, your school's, your business, our industry and a fundamental need in all our society.
Why is the Federal EPHA shutting down our coal fired electric generating plants with regulations that are not possible to achieve. Trap and store all CO2.
Forty-three percent of all our electricity is now generated by coal fired generating plants.
Electric generation now is HYDRO with no fuel cost but limited.
Solar generation very limited and restricted.
Wind generation limited and unsecured amounts.
Natural gas which is also coming into favor, but to generate 1 KW of electricity it will take in BTUs of Heat three times the cost of the same number of BTUs from coal.
Now a KW of electricity varies from about 7 cents to 10 or 12 cents.
If EPHA shuts down all the coal generating plants it brings up sharply two Questions.
1. Will there be enough electricity which we can not be without?
2. If the cost increases to 20 cents per KW of electricity can I afford it?
To show the uselessness of closing coal fired electric generating plants, a big new loading port near Seattle for coal only shipments to China is on the drawing board where China will then burn our coal for their cheaper electricity and industry.
How much will you and America pay for our stupid EPHA?
