Mr. and Mrs. Donald Brion, Liberty, observed their 60th wedding anniversary May 17, 2012.
They were married by the Rev. Robert W.L. Mark at Wellsboro Presbyterian Church. They are members of Salem Lutheran, Liberty.
Mrs. Brion, the former June Fay Amacher, is a native of Galeton. She is the daughter of the late Rose and Howard Amacher. She graduated from Wellsboro Area High School in 1949. She is a homemaker and employed in child care.

Mr. Brion, a native of Liberty, is the son of the late Margaret and Ernest Brion. He attended school in Liberty and is employed as a farmer by Brionview Farms and Brioncrest Elk Farms.
They are the parents of two daughters, Diane Tripp, Liberty, and Clara Hemling, Roaring Branch, and two sons, Dale, Williamsport, and Lynn, Liberty.
There are four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
In honor of their anniversary, a surprise open house at the Brion's pavilion and pond is planned for today
