Mr. and Mrs. David Hawkins, Williamsport, observed their 50th wedding anniversary Sat. May 5, 2012.
They were married by Monsignor Frank McHugh at Annunciation Catholic Church.
Mrs. Hawkins, the former Ann Logue, is a native of Williamsport. She is the daughter of the late Cecelia and Vincent Logue. She graduated from Williamsport Area High School in 1954 and is a member of St. Ann Roman Catholic Church.

Mr. Hawkins, a native of Williamsport, is the son of the late Mary and David Hawkins. He graduated from Williamsport Area High School in 1955 and attended Lock Haven University and Lycoming College. He served in the Army Security Agency and retired from Sedgwick James Insurance Agency.
They are the parents of two daughters, Julie Hawkins, Williamsport, and Kathleen Patton, West Chester.
There are two grandchildren.
In honor of their anniversary, a dinner was hosted by their children at Radley Run Country Club, West Chester. They also are planning a trip to the Grand at Diamond Beach, N.J.
