Announcement has been made of the engagement of Katie Rhodes, Selinsgrove, and Andrew Girio, Montoursville.
A June 16 wedding in Williamsport is being planned.
Rhodes is the daughter of Mary-Ellen and David Rhodes, Montoursville. She graduated from Montoursville Area High School in 2007 and received a bachelor's degree in nursing from Bloomsburg University in 2011. She is employed by Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, as a registered nurse.

Girio is the son of Cheryl and Joseph Girio, Montoursville. He graduated from Montoursville Area High School in 2006 and received a bachelor's degree in history and a minor in business administration with emphasis in secondary education from Susquehanna University, Selinsgrove, in 2010. He is employed by Girio Agency Inc. as an insurance agent.
