WELLSBORO - The Wellsboro Area Youth Soccer (W.A.Y.S.) program will host a kickoff carnival from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday in the Rock L. Butler Middle School.
The carnival will include raffle baskets, face painting, food, music and carnival games to promote the upcoming registration for the summer season.
Games and prizes, many with a soccer theme, will be available to play for all ages throughout the event. There will be a duck pond, lollipop tree, indoor soccer bowling, a soccer shot challenege and many other games and activities. Face painting also will be provided by Emma Lacey.
There is no admission fee, but donations will be accepted.
