Announcement has been made of the engagement of Melanie Kay Judy and Steven Glenn Thompson, both of Steelton.
A June 16 wedding at Spring Mount Farms, Warriors Mark, is being planned.
Judy is the daughter of Rebecca Judy, Northumberland, and John Gordon Judy, Woolrich. She graduated from Central Mountain High School, Mill Hall, in 2007 and received a bachelor's degree in accounting from Juniata College in 2011. She is employed by Foot Locker Inc., Camp Hill, as a staff accountant.

Thompson is the son of Linda and John Thompson, Oval. He graduated from Jersey Shore Area High School in 2005 and received an associate degree in electrical technology and a bachelor's degree in building automation technology from Pennsylvania College of Technology in 2009. He is employed by NRG Controls Inc., Harrisburg, as a building automation specialist.
