Sewing center announces events
Strobel's Sewing Center, 201 Basin St., will hold the following classes:
6 to 8:30 p.m. April 16 - Dear Jane Quilters gather to piece a replica of the Jane A. Stickle quilt from 1863. In this class, you will learn hand piecing.
1 to 3:30 p.m., April 9 and 6 to 8:30 p.m. April 23 - Women of Influence Block of the Month will meet to work on strip pieced and applique blocks. Reservations required.
1 to 3:30 p.m., April 11 and 18 - Estate Wallhaning class. Participants will learn a wall-hanging combining strip piecing and applique techniques.

Relay For Life team to hold fundraiser
Each Monday in April, Ralph Albert's Relay For Life team will hold a fundraiser at Benjie's, 350 Hughes St.
Ten percent of the food purchases will be donated to the Relay For Life team when presented with a voucher.
Vouchers are available on Facebook at Benjie's Relay For Life Team, at various locations throughout Williamsport or by contacting Sherry or Sara at 368-6653.
Golf association to hold annual brunch
MONTGOMERY - The White Deer Women's Golf Association will hold its annual spring brunch and organizational meeting at 10 a.m. April 10 at the Clubhouse, 352 Allenwood Camp Lane.
Wayne Mahonski, golf pro, will be the speaker.
All interested lady golfers, 18 years and older, are welcome to attend. Reservations for this brunch can be made by emailing wdwgapa@ gmail.com.
Relay For Life team to hold sale
Relay For Life Team, "J's Earthly Angels," will hold a public yard sale from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 14 in front of the Polish Club on the corner of Arch and Boyd streets.
All proceeds from this fundraiser will go to the American Cancer Society.

Relay team to hold yard sale
Lancers Against Cancers Relay For Life team will hold their spring yard sale from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 21 in the Loyalsock Township High School cafeteria. Donations will be accepted from 3:30 to 6 p.m. April 20 at the cafeteria.
