Amanda Elizabeth Gibson and Scott Ralph Welch were united in marriage Friday, Aug. 19, 2011.
The Rev. Chan Kilgore officiated at the ceremony held outside at the Historic Dubsdread, Orlando, Fla., where a reception also was held in the ballroom. An additional reception was held at Haywood's on the Green, Mill Hall.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. Jeff Ray and Linda Gibson, both of Temple, Texas. She graduated from Temple High School and received a bachelor's degree in anthropology from the University of Texas, Austin, Texas.

Welch is the son of Marie and Daniel Welch, Avis. He graduated from Jersey Shore High School and received a bachelor's degree in information, science and technology from Penn State University.
Maid of honor was Kathyrn Ward, sister of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Kathleen Brubaker, Jennifer Sims and Maria Welch, sister of the bridegroom.
Best man was Jared Hollick.
Groomsmen were John Boggs, Dan Davies and Jeremy Gibson, brother of the bride.
Following a trip to the Great Smoky Mountains, N.C., the couple is residing in Orlando, Fla.
