Announcement has been made of the engagement of Heidi Marie Shoemaker and Kyle Steven Miller, both of Bellefonte.
A July 28 wedding at Beech Creek Wesleyan Church is being planned.
Shoemaker is the daughter of Holly Beaver, Jersey Shore, and Scott Shoemaker, Mill Hall. She graduated from Central Mountain High School, Mill Hall, in 2009 and is pursuing a degree in health policy and administration with a minor in business and liberal arts from Penn State University.

Miller is the son of Ann and Steve Miller, Collomsville. He graduated from Jersey Shore Area High School in 2009 and received an associate degree in criminal justice from Lackawanna College, Scranton. He is employed by the Centre County Correctional Facility, Bellefonte, as a corrections officer.
